The 2nd Annual Fair-Williams-Bennett-Copier New Year's Eve Game Night

 Last night we got together with some of our best friends to celebrate the new year in style with our 2nd Annual Fair-Williams-Bennett-Copier New Year's Eve Game and Fondue Night.    And as you can plainly see from the picture above, partying is serious business.  We do not mess around.  We dressed up, curled our hair and put our party hats on!

Ali made two delicious types of fondue and she had all sorts of stuff to dip in them.  We ate so much!  It was fabulous.  Then Porter and I brought stuff over for a chocolate fondue.  My favorite was the cream puffs dipped in dark chocolate, although the strawberries were a close second.


After dinner, a small photo session ensued.

When we finished with our fabulous photo shoot, we played Settlers of Catan.  Highlights of the game included: Jon getting the Economic metropolis, Ali's pursuit of pashmina, coin purse, and bibles, the great road of Erin, and Porter winning the game.  I love game nights!!!

We are moving to Australia.  Or at least that is what Porter thought for about 5 minutes.  Just kidding. April Fool's!!! I had an idea this afternoon about how to prank Porter.  I usually pull off pretty good stuff.  However, Porter expects it of me, so I have to get other people involved.  So I emailed his awesome boss, and asked if he would tell Porter that the company needed him to move to Australia in June.  He said he was in!  So I waited.... We went to dinner, and Porter said he had to make a call to his boss really quick.  I was only too happy to oblige.  While on the phone the conversation went perfectly.  They talked about some accounts in APAC and how well they were going.  The conversation shifted.  Then Porter stopped talking and this was the look on his face. What happens backstage...doesn't always stay backstage

Ugly Dance Party 1 Ugly Dance Party 2 Have you ever wondered what goes on backstage during a show??? What are those actors up to while you, the patron are out in the lobby grabbing snacks, visiting the lou, or striking up conversation about your feelings toward the show? Well, today is your lucky day! I bring you an up close and personal look into the GREEN ROOM dun, dun, DUN! Some activities these Hairspray actors participate in: Ugly dance competition guitar playing casual conversation eating taking pictures knitting And generally, just having a grand ol' time The Green Room is a blast, so is the dressing room, although I don't bring you footage of that. I know, I know....sorry boys! Half the fun of theatre is hanging with all these great people. I miss my cast from the 'Spray!

Paris Catacombs

It took us 3 times to actually make it to the catacombs. The first time, they were closed, second, we went to the wrong location, but third times the charm. We waited in line for about an hour before entering here. Next we had to go down 65 steps on a tiny, spiral staircase. It was very tight, and you could feel the temperature dropping as we descended down into the bowels of Paris. We then had to go through a system of small tunnels. The ceiling was only 6 ft. and was just bare rock. It was even dripping in places. I am not claustrophobic, but I was definitely feeling uneasy. Just the thought of getting trapped down there sends shivers down my spine. The bare tunnels opened up a little to reveal this great passage way, but it only lasted a little while before we were back to the tiny tunnel. The door way to the burial chamber : "Stop. Here is the Kingdom of the Dead." There were bones stacked up 5 1/2 feet on both sides. I'm not sure how thick it was. And this went on
