Fall Pictures

Image
I did a few sessions with family during fall.  I love fall!  The weather is perfect, warm days and crisp nights.  It's harvest time so I get to eat tons of yummy food.  Basically, everything comes in pumpkin flavor or scent.  I get to start wearing boots and drinking warm drinks.  Plus it's time for all sorts of holidays at the Fair-Williams House, from birthdays to anniversaries to all the traditional stuff.  I'm pretty happy with how all of these pictures turned out.

Manly Motocycle shoot

Image
My friend Andy and I went out yesterday to do some shots of him and his bike.  I had never shot with a wide angle lens before or a motorcycle.  I kept telling him it was an experiment, so not to be too disappointed if the experiment failed.  Although usually my experiments yield at least a few good outcomes.  I think we can consider this experimental shoot a success. I'm pretty much in love with this next one!  I was laying down in the street to get it.  I'm glad Andy is a good driver.

Around the United Kingdom in 20 minutes.

This is a movie I threw together on iTunes of all the places we visited in England and Scotland this last August.  I told Porter that I have recovered and am ready to go on another European adventure!

Fall Brawl 2

Porter participated in his second amateur Muay Thai kickboxing fight last night.  His first was in June.  He did so good!  I am one proud wifey.  His form was so much better this time around and he had great stamina (he's been training and conditioning for the past 2 months).  He fought in a  154 lbs. weight class.  I was sort of nervous for him, but more nervous for myself as I sang the national anthem.  I'm always afraid I will forget the words.  Porter did great.  He was so much more aggressive this time around and really controlled the ring.  About the end of the second round I had a hunch he had won because he was doing so well.  It also didn't hurt that he had the best cheering section there!  Thanks to all our friends and family and coworkers who made it out!  I especially love cheering with my lady friends, they get all loud and crazy just like me.  I'm in good company with them around.  Porter won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I'm am so incredibly happy and proud of him.
