Finals Week!

We had a really fun Thanksgiving with our family.  It wasn't a "normal" Thanksgiving, but we loved it.  We went with Porter's mom to a lovely music program at her church the night before.  Then we had a yummy lunch of soup with Porter's dad.  For dinner we had my brother and sister-in-law over for dinner and games.  It was a pretty intense night of Settlers of Catan.  We played until after midnight, which for us is late!  Especially considering that we were planning to be up at 5 am the next morning to go Black Friday shopping.  Kit and Rachel spent the night as we all got up early to hit the sales.  We bought a door-buster Christmas tree, hurray!  Other than that is wasn't that exciting. The best part was breakfast at Ruth's Diner.  That place is like "get in my belly now!" kind of good.  I even got my first hot coco of the season.

I haven't posted in a few weeks as it's the end of the semester which pretty much means I have no life.  Good news though, I have finished everything except on project.  So, a few more days and I'm free!....well kind of.  Then I have to finish everything else for the holidays.  This video is a song I sang as a summary of my project that I'm working on for my thesis.  My thesis in researching the intersection between learning theory, and gaming theory to create effective training game for adults.  Basically, education in a video game....pretty much the best idea since sliced bread. ;)
